The Dunne Library is a space open to students from 7:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. during school days. It is a haven for those who are engaged in reading, researching, or studying. The space is also inviting to students working in small groups or on projects. With over 31,000 items including books, periodicals, DVDs, and other video formats, the library is able to fulfill its mission of turning students into effective life-long users of 21st century technology and information.
The library also offers twelve award-winning online electronic information databases and other reference materials available in e-book format. The advantages of digital information are multiple: 24/7 remote access, mass circulation of reference content, authority and validity of information, and full-text and multimedia resources. Students, faculty, and staff can access these sources from the Dunne Library section of their Blackboard accounts.
Most notably, the Dunne Library collection of online databases includes JStor, which is used by nearly every major university and offers more than 2,000 academic journals dating back to the first volume ever published--over 50 million digitized pages.
