DC Wilcutt Gymnasium

CBC's gym offers 13,400-square-feet of space that is used for basketball, volleyball and competition wrestling, among other uses to support the school and students. Retractable bleachers seat 1,236 on the main level and 500 on the mezzanine. The mezzanine also has a retractable baseball batting cage.

The facility is named in honor of DC Wilcutt, a legendary coach, educator and administrator who spent 35-years at CBC. During his career, Coach Wilcutt compiled a record of 570 - 331 and led the Cadets to three state titles (1959, 1960, 1963.)

Under his leadership the Cadets gained a reputation as one of the most dominant prep basketball programs in the area. He is the winningest basketball coach in CBC’s history and was inducted into the Missouri Coaches’ Hall of Fame.

Coach Wilcutt is an Honorary Alumnus of CBC and has earned the designation as an Affiliated Christian Brother, one of the highest and most prestigious honors a lay person can receive from the Brothers of the Christian Schools.
