At Christian Brothers College High School, the spirit and ideals of Saint John Baptist de La Salle are the hallmark of CBC’s rich heritage. De La Salle was a French priest who revolutionized education in the 17th Century by making education more accessible to all. He also pioneered the system of tracking students according to abilities to better ensure success based on individual student learning profiles.
De La Salle’s teachings still hold true today. What sets CBC apart from many other schools in the area is the diversity of its students, both in terms of ethnicity and socio-economics. To support this effort, CBC offers several need-based financial aid packages and programs.
This school year, nearly 30 percent of all CBC students are receiving
almost $750,000 in financial aid and tuition assistance.
