Father-son bowling a bonding experience

By Jon Straub

People find many ways to spend quality time with family. On September 24, some cadets and their fathers headed down to Olivette Lanes to do just that, but not before they sent their prayers up to God.

The fathers and sons bonded at CBC's Chapel of Our Lady of the Star, before letting the laughs and joys roll at the bowling alley.

Everyone was starving before arriving at the bowling alley, and few remained in their seats when the buffet was ready.

The rest of the day consisted of people being introduced to others while they began to complete against each other. Many fathers instantly created a sense of a team amongst themselves, and the sons did the same.

Every strike would bring boos full of sarcasm as everyone rooted against their family. However, everyone knew when to show good sportsmanship and clapped when the time was right.
