Stronger Than Ever - Brotherhood

The CBC Brotherhood

The message that CBC is Stronger Than Ever was launched on billboards across St. Louis nearly one year ago. We wanted everyone to know that our school is continuing to build on our proud past as we move into our bright future.

Thank you for helping us spread the message in so many ways - from t-shirts and car decals to stadium cheers and social media. In the last month alone, #CBCStrongerThanEver has received an estimated 450,000 impressions on Twitter. People are hearing our message!

The monthly newsletter you're reading now has helped us offer more detailed stories and examples of how our school's mission, programs and people set CBC apart. The wide variety of topics discussed is catalogued here. Please help us continue to spread the word about the amazing things that are happening at CBC.

As we conclude the school year I'd like to talk about the one thing that sets our school apart more than any other, and that is brotherhood.

We know CBC doesn't own that term. And we know that other schools work to build it, too. But building BROTHERS FOR LIFE is in our DNA. It's connected to our Lasallian mission and, we believe, the CBC brotherhood is truly unique.

Here are a few recent examples of why we're so confident in that belief. Our students' words and actions tell the story better than I ever could.

"On my junior ring I have engraved God - Country - Brotherhood. When I think of CBC these are the first three things that come to my mind. I love CBC with all my heart, and I am extremely thankful for all it has done for me." - Derek White '16

"CBC has pushed me to be the best I can be. I was fortunate to be taught the Lasallian mission and to know what it means to be a brother for life."  - Carlos Ramirez-Del Valle '16

"I've met the best friends I could ever ask for. I love coming to school every day, and that is how I know I made the right decision in coming to CBC. I love the faculty and staff and will forever take pride in my high school."  - Clayton Cissell '16
