JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our Accounting/financial department and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably within an academic environment This role is critical in guiding the financial strategy of our school and will involve collaboration with various departments to achieve financial goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
-Prepare and oversee regulatory reporting to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
-Utilize strong financial acumen to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
-Oversee cash management activities, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs.
-Manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
-Conduct thorough account analysis to maintain accuracy in financial records.
-Prepare comprehensive financial reports that clearly communicate the organization’s financial status to school leadership and the Board.
-Develop forecasts and budgets that align with school objectives and support strategic planning initiatives.
-Manager tuition administration process.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Proven experience in accounting or a similar role, demonstrating expertise in accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and cash management.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare detailed reports.
-Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Inova or UKG payroll
-Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
