Opportunity 1 - Tutoring Program
What: Provide after-school academic support for students in grades 4-8

Opportunity 2 - Food Pantry
What: Prepare food orders and stock shelves.

Opportunity 3 - Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA)
What: Learn about adaptive sports from athletes with disabilities, including archery, para powerlifting, rock climbing, sled hockey, power soccer, wheelchair basketball, and more!
Contact: If you volunteer for recreation programs, you must complete the Volunteer Application. If you want to help with a competition, visit the website and sign up on the tournament's page.
Opportunity 4 - Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK)
Opportunity 5 - Baseball Buddy
St. Louis Challenger Baseball provides the opportunity for people with disabilities to play the sport. All you need to do is register to volunteer, show up, and be a friend. See Ms. Emanuel for more information.
Opportunity 6 - Small Steps Therapy Program
What: Volunteers will help with the gross motor activities and music time activities alongside DSAGSL staff and certified music therapist. This program is for children with Down syndrome ages 3-8 years old. Volunteer at one or all of the sessions at one or all of the locations! Just select the location and month on your sign up sheet for the sessions you are able to attend. Recommended age for volunteers is 15+.

Opportunity 7 - Thrift Store and Food Pantry
Who: St. Augustine Wellston Center
What: Helping sort clothes, package food, and assist our older and long term volunteers
When: Every Saturday anytime from 8:30 AM until noon

Opportunity 8 - Xavier Winter Inn
Who: St. Francis Xavier College Church
What: Greeters and general volunteers for their emergency shelter
When: Typical shifts are from 4-8pm on Wednesday and Thursday nights in Dec-Feb when temperatures are below 20 degrees. Volunteer training will take place via Zoom.

Opportunity 9 - Guardian Angel Food Pantry
What: Unload food deliveries, sort items, and restock pantry shelves to ensure families in need have access to essential groceries. All volunteers must be able and willing to life 25 lbs to participate.

What: Procuring and delivering food. Sorting and stocking shelves.

What: Prepare and serve meals on the 9th of every month
