Opportunity 1 - Equestrian Event
“If you have students looking for volunteer opportunities we have a very large event going on October 10-14 in Lake St Louis with many volunteer slots that are open to non-equestrians."
Region 4 Championships is just around the corner and we have LOTS of open volunteer opportunities - and we need your help! Take a look at the slots available for signups and please sign up if you are onsite or available to volunteer.

Opportunity 2 - Yardwork for Alum’s Family
“Saturday, October 12, we need about 12-15 students to do yardwork for the widow of a former alum.
The cleanup will take about 4/5 hours, depending on how many people volunteer. And no matter what, students will receive 4/5 hours for the service work.”

Opportunity 3 - Food Pantry
“We have a food pantry on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-12 and Wednesday afternoons from 1-4. We need help before each of these times as well to prepare food orders and stock shelves. If they could come after school, we always need help stocking shelves. We are open until 5 p.m.”

Opportunity 7- Boo at the Saint Louis Zoo
Who: Saint Louis Zoo
What: Volunteers are needed for the annual Boo at the Zoo family-friendly Halloween-themed experience. Help monitor the maze, guide families, in activity/craft areas and more!

Opportunity 8- Mini-Golf Tournament
Who: Immigrant Home English Learning Program (I-HELP)
What: Volunteers are needed for our Mini-Golf Tournament, running games, the concession stand, or registration.

Opportunity 9 – Fundraising Event
We also have our annual fundraiser in October called the Doors of Opportunity. This year the event is on Thursday, October 17th at Orlando’s Event Center in Maryland Heights. We would love to have some students help the evening of the event with set up, selling raffle tickets, escorting guests to their tables, and breaking down after the event. We could use students from 4-9 pm.

Opportunity 10-Down Syndrome Association
Who: Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis
What: Volunteers are needed for our Small Steps Therapy Program, helping with activities for children with Down Syndrome.
