You can make a gift immediately by calling CBC at (314) 985-6029.

CBC is the most diverse private school in the Saint Louis metro area. It is our conviction that a racially and economically diverse population not only enhances the school community, but also benefits the entire Saint Louis community. This belief is central to our mission and has been since the school was founded in 1850.

The Christian Brothers

The Brothers of the Christian Schools began making a difference in people's lives more than 320 years ago. We were founded by Saint John Baptist de La Salle, a French priest from Reims, France. He saw the need for a group of lay men who would dedicate their lives to the ministry of Christian education, especially for the poor.

Our mission has always been "to give a human and Christian education to the young, especially the poor." Today we minister with over 73,000 lay colleagues and teach over 900,000 students in 80 countries. Christian Brothers College High School, established in 1850, serve a diverse student population from more than 125 different parishes in the Saint Louis Archdiocese. Today’s staff and faculty is dedicated to teaching in the spirit of De La Salle, with a special emphasis on service to the poor.
