CBC receives grant from Saigh Foundation

Christian Brothers College High School is pleased to announce a $10,000 grant from the Saigh Foundation, which will help provide financial aid for deserving families. CBC thanks the Saigh Foundation for making this generous commitment to help our students.

The Saigh Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life throughout the St. Louis region through the support of charitable projects and initiatives which primarily benefit children through education and health care.

The foundation, which was established in 2000, continues to support community interests and legacy of Fred M. Saigh, a lawyer, businessman, real estate investor and former owner of the St. Louis Cardinals who passed away in 1999 at the age of 94.

The Saigh Foundation has made a tremendous impact throughout the St. Louis area in the past 20 years, with more than $50 million in donations to organizations that serve the youth of the community.

The baseball field at Cadet Park was renamed “The Fred Saigh Memorial Baseball Field” back in 2004 to honor his incredible generosity to the youth of St. Louis and to CBC High School in particular and his legacy of sportsmanship and generosity.
