22 CBC student-athletes make college commitments

> Seniors formally announce university choices alongside their brothers
> Seven members of this signing class carry a grade-point average of 4.0 or higher

ST. LOUIS, February 3, 2021 – Christian Brothers College High School is proud to announce that 22 senior student-athletes have made commitments to continue their academic and athletic careers in college. All 22 will be honored at a Signing Day ceremony at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, in DC Wilcutt Gymnasium.

While at CBC, these young men have grown spiritually, served their community, received a premier education and helped lead the school to multiple state championships in athletic competition.

“These outstanding young men serve as great examples of what a comprehensive Lasallian education of youth is all about,” CBC President Michael Jordan, AFSC, said. “They hold a wide range of strengths and talents and we are extremely proud to celebrate them today. Their impressive athletic accomplishments are just the beginning. They have impressed us in the classroom, through their service to the community, their brotherhood and in so many other ways. While they will leave our campus at the end of the school year, they will always be a part of the CBC community.”

CBC Athletic Director Dr. A.G. “Rocky” Streb applauds the accomplishments of the group.

“This is a great group of young men who have accomplished a lot during their time here,” Streb said. “They have taken advantage of all that CBC has to offer and we are thrilled that athletics have played a role in their development. We appreciate the hard work they have put in here at CBC and we will continue to cheer them on as they compete and study at the next level.”
