CBC vs. Lafayette football game information
The five-time state champion CBC football team (10-0) will host visiting Lafayette (10-0) in the Class 6 District 2 championship game on Friday, November 14. Kickoff is at 7 PM.
CBC, the top seed in the district, advanced to the title game after defeating fourth-seeded De Smet 55-36. Lafayette, the No. 2 seed in the district, earned a spot in the championship game after beating third-seeded St. Louis University High 28-25.
CBC is averaging 54.4 points per game and allowing 17.9. Lafayette is scoring 44.2 points per game and allowing 9.4 points per contest.
The winner advances to face the Class 6 District 1 champion -- either Jackson (10-0) or Northwest Cedar Hill (8-2) -- in the Class 6 quarterfinals on Nov. 22.
