Dear CBC Family,
I’m very pleased to share that CBC has hired a new Director of Special Events to support our Advancement team and the many events that strengthen our school community. Beginning this upcoming school year, Mrs. Francesca Willenberg will transition from her role on our Spanish faculty to this new position.
Francesca brings great enthusiasm, strong organizational leadership, and a deep appreciation for CBC's mission. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and International Business with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree in International Business from Webster University. Just as importantly, she brings a passion for creating events that celebrate our traditions, strengthen our faith, and bring our community together in support of the young men entrusted to our care.
Many in our community already know Francesca through her years of service supporting fundraising efforts both at CBC and in the broader Catholic community. She served four years on the ICD Dinner Auction committee and has been actively involved with CBC’s own fundraising initiatives, most recently volunteering on our acquisitions team and assisting with donor solicitations. She also worked closely with Jim and Mike on faculty and student volunteerism
Through these experiences, she has seen firsthand the generosity, faith, and brotherhood that define CBC, and she is excited to help build on that spirit in this new role. Francesca and her husband, Paul, are proud members of the CBC family. Their oldest son, Anthony (Class of 2021), is an alumnus, and their son Joseph will join CBC as a freshman this fall.
Outside of school, Francesca enjoys traveling, exploring international cuisines, meeting people from around the world, and watching films. As a first-generation American with Sicilian heritage, she values connecting with different cultures and traditions. She and her family are also avid baseball fans and have spent many years cheering on their boys in soccer, baseball, basketball, and football.
Please join me in congratulating Francesca and welcoming her to this important role in our Advancement efforts. I’m grateful for her willingness to serve CBC's mission in a new way, and I look forward to the energy and creativity she will bring to the events that help sustain and strengthen our school.
Live Jesus in our hearts ... Forever!
