Honoring the Life of Bill Almon ’50

During the construction of CBC’s current campus the Almons stepped-up to fund the Chapel of Our Lady of the Star, beautifully constructed at the center of our school building. Their donation of four busses has also made it possible for many students to gain access to a CBC education. Thanks to the Almons, students from St. Louis City, South County and Saint Charles County board busses to our campus each day. This gift has made it possible for CBC to continue its long-standing tradition of serving students and families from across the St. Louis region.

Following his days at CBC, Mr. Almon attended the United States Military Academy at West Point. He spent his career working in the technology industry where he founded, built and ran several successful companies.

The Christian Brothers honored Mr. Almon’s many years of service and generosity by naming him an Affiliated Member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 2011.

The entire CBC community is grateful for Mr. Almon’s commitment to our school, and we hold the Almon family in our prayers during this time.
