Remembering James Jost, Sr., AFSC '55

The CBC family mourns the passing of Mr. James Jost, Sr., AFSC, a graduate of the Class of 1955.

As most in our community know, Mr. Jost has served as the president of the CBC Hockey program since 1976. Under his leadership the Cadets have become the most successful high school program in the state of Missouri, but his support of CBC's Lasallian mission has made a lasting impact that extends far beyond the ice.

Congratulations to Coach John Jost '84 and the Cadet Hockey team on winning their third consecutive Mid-States Challenge Cup Championship! The Cadets beat the SLUH Jr. Bills by a score of 5-2 on Friday, February 26 in front of an excited crowd at Scottrade Center.

Cadets Named National Merit Finalists

Congratulations to seniors Reed Sahadevan and Caz Smith who have been named National Merit Finalists! Of the 1.5 million students who take the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, these young men scored in the top one percent and were then selected as Finalists based on their academic credentials.

AJ Palazzolo Wins Gatorade Player of the Year Award

Congratulations to senior AJ Palazzolo who has been selected as Gatorade's Missouri Boys Soccer Player of the Year. In the 31-years that Gatorade has sponsored this award, AJ is the fourth winner to to be chosen from Christian Brothers College High School.

AJ is also an excellent student, earning a 3.6 grade point average and participating in CBC's Freshman Mentor Program.
